Take Me to the Fair

Greetings from the Land of Lincoln!
Today is Governor's Day at the Illinois State Fair. I've got a prime seat thanks to our Illinois Federation President Susan Wynn Bence. With 10,000 expected to attend, this may be my biggest crowd yet!
I was so proud of NFRW President Carrie Almond, who talked about our journeys and led the Pledge of Allegience.
Everyone is in town. It was a who's who at the Illinois Republican Women PAC Event in downtown Springfield last night, where I parked in the shadow of the Capitol.
It was awesome to see Lt. Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti again. She refreshed her signature - Adelante con el elefante!
I got introduced to lots of Illinois Republican leaders, including State Comptroller Leslie Munger, State GOP Chairman Tim Schneider, and National Committeewoman Demetra Demonte.
Even more great Republicans at the fair, including Senator Mark Kirk and Congressman Peter Roskam.
And of course, the Governor, Bruce Rauner, who is fixing Illinois.
