Say Cheese!

I will always associate Wisconsin with cheese... wine and cheese, cheese curd, cheesehead hats, and so many important people standing by me and saying "Cheese" for the camera.

I already told you about the wine and cheese party on Thursday. On Saturday, the Wisconsin Federation presented our President, Carrie Almond, with a cheesehead hat that everyone had signed (well almost). Isn't she just too cute for words?

Our first Very Important Passenger was U.S. Senator Ron Johnson. I had already gotten an autograph from his lovely wife, Jane. The Senator was very nice and posed with all the women.

Miss Carrie had lunch with Governor Scott Walker and his wife, Tonette. Afterwards, they came out for autographs. Gov. Walker signed on the eagle because he was an eagle scout. He told us how he loved his campaign bus. They are such wonderful, down to earth people!

Next up were the big brass of the Wisconsin GOP. I collected signatures from State Chairman Brad Courtney, National Committeewoman Mary Buestrin, and National Committeeman Steve King. He has a very important job for the Cleveland Convention, so I did my best to shine. It was kinda like an audition. I think he liked me!

Saturday afternoon, they blocked off the streets. security gave me a once over, and up walks Congressman Paul Ryan. He has a very important job in Washington as Speaker of the House.

I got his autograph right by the door - and he signed Miss Carrie's cheesehead hat (the one signature that was missing).

I can tell you this... Rosie rolls with Ryan!
