Hail Rosie!

I hit the campaign trail by storm and hosted a Governor - but more on that later.

The morning started in Des Moines with a Bankers Breakfast at the Marriott with some of President Carrie's colleagues. We were met by our Vice President from Iowa, Kim Reem. And I scored my first autograph! Cousin Rosemary, who like me is named for Grandma Rosemary, was the first to sign, right above my Rosie16 license plate.

Next stop was Iowa Republican Headquarters for a big rally.

We had quite the all-star lineup, including State Federation President Melissa Gesing, the National Committeeman and National Committeewoman, State Auditor, and Deputy Secretary of State.

You can read about it in the newspaper and watch my arrival on TV.

Oh, and I collected a lot more autographs. Check out the album on Facebook.

A pit stop in Avoca where we picked up Gwen Ecklund, the NFRW Achievement Award Chair.

Then on to Lincoln, where our arrival was hailed - literally. But hail, driving rain, flash floods, and even a tornado touching down couldn't keep Governor Pete Ricketts and the wonderful Nebraska ladies away.

I think the ladies were pleased by my performance.
